That’s one of the most interesting parts of working with organic gemstones, there’s always something new to discover and an air of mystery that scientists, gemologists, jewellers and historians are fascinated with. We love to bring this extensive research and experience with all who want to hear it and therefore, offer inspiring and engaging talks that cover everything there is to know about Amber.
Sharing Our Knowledge
We love to share our passion with everyone. From those who consider themselves experts when it comes to Amber to individuals who know very little about the fiery gem, we enjoy presenting to a wide variety of people. We understand that our fascination with the one-of-a-kind stone is infectious and once others begin to learn more, they too are passionate about Amber.
We’re always developing, progressing and evolving when it comes to our work. Therefore, there is often something new to share and talk about during our educational talks. We love meeting our community of followers and customers allowing for us to communicate with them in a new way. There’s always time for questions and a chat once our presentation is over.
Communicating to Our Audience
We pride ourselves on creating an engaging and interesting talk that will leave the room feeling inspired and knowing so much more about Amber. With the glowing gemstone being around for centuries there is a lot to cover yet we like to keep it concise yet entertaining with visual aids. We welcome any questions that the audience has and strive to answer them as accurately as possible. There’s not much we don’t know with our decades of experience researching and working with the gemstone.
We usually cover the below points when invited to speak at an event yet may vary depending on who is scheduled to give the talk.
- The history of the gemstone from the tragedy and romance of tales and legends to the long Amber Trade Road.
- We explain how Amber is formed and how the unique inclusions become trapped inside during formation.
- We explore where in the world Amber is found and why.
- How we ethically source our pieces of Amber and transform them into beautiful pieces of jewellery.
- As you know, we’re experts in a variety of British gemstones and those across the globe too. We’re more than happy to share everything we know about Whitby Jet, Derbyshire Blue John and Arizona Turquoise too!
Attending Shows
Spreading our love for beautiful gemstones, we set up our stall at Country Shows as much as possible. It is the perfect way to meet people who are passing by and introduce them to our designs that are beautifully displayed on our stand. We really enjoy taking part in the shows and talking to new and existing customers who spot our logo over the weekend. They are such a sociable and fun event to attend and are always marked in our calendars way in advance.
