Ring Sizing

It couldn’t be easier to know your ring size than with our useful and helpful guide. It’s so important to order with confidence when finding that special ring whether it’s a wedding band or a designer dress ring, it needs to fit perfectly. Luckily, we’re experts when it comes to sizing with over forty years of experience in the industry.

Our ring collection is made to last, therefore, we understand that each design needs to be comfortable to wear at all times. Too big, it may slide off and too small, it may become stuck, therefore, we can make sure your new ring fits just right.

Our aim is to make online shopping as easy as possible and have created a ring sizing guide that can be downloaded and printed at home. We’ve made the instructions simple to follow with a step by step list that is clear and concise. Our goal is for you to order once and get it just right but please remember whilst we’re confident in our ring sizing guide it is to be used as an estimate rather than a precise measurement.

An Incorrect Ring Size

As previously mentioned, our ring sizer is not 100% accurate but more of a guide to use to gauge your size. If you would prefer an exact size arranging an appointment to see an expert in store is the best way to measure.

However, if you do order the wrong size, you do have some options. Our after sales service is excellent, we can either resize the ring or recreate the design in the correct size.

Organising a Proposal

It’s a difficult task knowing the size of your fiancé to be’s finger without asking them first. However, there are ways around it. As you probably already know, engagement and wedding rings are usually worn on the third finger of the left hand. On most occasions they won’t have a ring that fits that finger already, therefore, we advise for you to find a design that is worn on their middle finger and go down a size or two.

Remember if the ring isn’t quite the right fit we offer a superb after sales service to make sure its perfect!

3 Top Tips

  • The broader the ring, the tighter the fit! That means that if you pick a ring with a larger band width, you will typically need to go up a size.
  • Don’t measure your ring size with cold hands as usually your fingers will be half a size smaller.
  • Seeking professional help is always a good idea to get the best fit possible. We’re more than happy to help to organise your surprise or planned proposal, please get in touch on 01335 216 004 or sales@cwsellors.com
